Here you can find on-line resources for
internships, including where to find them and how to apply.
But before you go, see if what you need
can be found right here. Here's how the Career Center can help you:

Check
out the Career Center's
internship
resources webpage to read all about how and where to start your
internship search. Also, you can find some intern success stories
written from interviews of Truman students.

If
you're looking into the
Washington
Center Internship program, make sure to read this article for
contact info. The Washington Center internships are open to any major,
and are worth 15 credit hours during the spring semester.

The
Career Center hosts
Career
Expo, where many internships are offered (click
here
to see what companies are offering internships). There is a Career
Expo in the fall, and in the spring. You must also be registered to
eRecruiting if you wish to interview or to send a resume with a company.
Make sure to come in the Career Center to find out deadlines and to
prepare yourself for meeting with potential employers.

You can find hundreds of internship and job opportunities, apply for
them, and much more.

Come
in the Career Center during our office hours (Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm).
We have wonderful resources on all kinds of internships and where
to find them. Our in-center assistants can help you find the right
resources. and can also help with critiquing resumes and cover letters
(no appointment necessary). You can also schedule an appointment with
a member of our
staff,
who are wonderful sources of knowledge and advice. You can find us
in the McKinney Center, next to the Student Health Center, or give
us a call (660-785-4353).
