Twice a year, Truman hosts Career and Grad School Week, an event packed with activities to help all students (not just seniors) prepare for internship and job searches and graduate or professional school.
Donald Asher, one of the foremost experts on grad school admissions, leads programs including workshops on how to write the personal statement, how to find potential funding sources, and how to approach the application process. This event is held during the Fall Career and Grad School Week.
Interviewing is a skill that can be honed with practice, and Truman alumni like to help students by sharing their own interviewing experience. These mock interviews allow students to get helpful feedback from alumni so they can polish their interviewing skills for the real thing.
