Career Resource Library
The resource library located in the Career Center houses hundreds of
volumes to help you learn more about yourself, the world of work, and potential
careers. Many volumes can be checked out.
One-On-One Career Advising
Confidential sessions with professional staff members are available on
request for individuals wanting in-depth assistance. Academic major exploration,
internship location, employment advising, graduate school selection, and
admission essay reviews are a few of the services available. To
schedule an appointment, stop by or call the Career Center.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
The MBTI is a personality inventory and can be very helpful in determining
which career and work environment would be best suited to you. You'll need to
schedule an appointment with a career counselor to take the MBTI, and there is a
small fee.
Self Directed Search
The Self-Directed Search (SDS) allows you the opportunity to receive
feedback on your interests as they relate to the world of work. You'll get a
multi-page report listing a number of careers, degrees, and hobbies frequently
pursued by people with interests similar to yours. You'll need to schedule an
appointment with a career counselor to take the SDS, and there is a small fee.
