Steps That A Student Should Take To Secure A Psychology Internship
This process should be completed about one and one half months before an internship is started.
   1.  Go to the Vice Presidents Office and obtain an internship packet.
   2.  Fill out the packet and complete a resume to go along with the packet.
   3.  Take the packet to Professor Sal Costa in the Brewer Annex for approval.
   4.  Choose a place for your internship.  There are opportunities listed below but you may also
        contact companies on your own.  See Professor Costa if you need help.
   5.  Work out the details with the place of internship and finalize your internship with them.
   6.  Take packet back to Professor Costa for approval/disproval of the internship.
   7.  If Professor Costa approves your internship, then schedule an interview with Dr. Patterson,
        Social Science Division Head.
   8.  Schedule an interview with the Vice President's Office.
   9.  About two weeks before the end of the semester, professor Costa will conduct a general    
        internship meeting for all psychology students accepting internship positions.  You must attend
        this meeting.
