Job Search Tools

eRecruiting
eRecruiting enables students to browse jobs; sign up for job and internship interviews; view and apply for jobs; find mentors to help students narrow their career focus; and many more features.  Click here for more information

ReferenceUSA
ReferenceUSA allows students virtually unlimited access to some 13 million potential employers. Available on all of the Career Center's lab computers, students can research employers by geographical location, business type, size. Includes not-for-profit and government agencies.

Part-time Jobs
The Career Center uses eRecruiting, a web based data base system, to list part-time jobs that lists off-campus jobs for students.  On-campus jobs can also be viewed by accessing eRecruiting.

Experience Network for Alumni
Experience Network is a free alumni career development resource that includes a wide array of job postings, the ability for alumni to network with other alumni from their school, and access to proprietary and sponsored career content.

On-Campus Recruiting
The Career Center hosts Career Expo each semester. Expo attracts over 200 employers each year to recruit students and alumni for internships, summer jobs, and full-time employment. The on-campus interview program brings employers to Truman to conduct formal interviews. To participate in on-campus interviews, students must register with eRecruiting.

One-on-One Career Advising
In addition to printed and on-line job search tools, the Career Center also offers one-on-one appointments to assist students of all majors in defining their job targets, identifying potential employers, and developing a job search strategy.
