ReferenceUSA
ReferenceUSA allows students virtually unlimited access to some 13 million
potential employers. Available on all of the Career Center's lab computers,
students can research employers by geographical location, business type, size.
Includes not-for-profit and government agencies.
Part-time Jobs The
Career Center uses eRecruiting, a web based data base system, to list part-time jobs that lists off-campus
jobs for students. On-campus jobs can also be viewed by accessing
eRecruiting.
Experience Network for
Alumni Experience Network is a free alumni career development
resource that includes a wide array of job postings, the ability for alumni to
network with other alumni from their school, and access to proprietary and
sponsored career content.

On-Campus Recruiting
The
Career Center hosts Career Expo each semester. Expo attracts over 200 employers
each year to recruit students and alumni for internships, summer jobs,
and full-time employment. The on-campus interview program brings employers
to Truman to conduct formal interviews. To participate in on-campus interviews, students must
register with eRecruiting.
One-on-One Career Advising
In addition to printed and on-line job search tools, the Career Center also
offers one-on-one appointments to assist students of all majors in defining
their job targets, identifying potential employers, and developing a job search
strategy.
