Interviewing Skills

These documents will provide you with tips on how to interview successfully. For further assistance, please stop by the Career Center. Besides additional interviewing resources, we also provide a service called the mock interview. A mock interview is practice interview session designed to help you feel more comfortable during an actual interview. The session is videotaped, so you will be able to see how an interviewer will perceive your gestures, speech, posture, etc. All you have to do to sign up is stop by the Career Center to reserve a time and turn in a resume at least 24 hours before you want to do the mock interview. One of our career assistants will review your resume and prepare interview questions geared toward your field of interest. For your mock interview appointment, be sure to dress professionally.
